Manchester Business Consortium (MBC) was established in 1987 and is committed to Manchester's Regeneration. We are Manchester's Enterprise Agency and a Company Limited by Guarantee.
MBC has twenty years experience in the local delivery of enterprise training, advice and consultancy. MBC is a member of the National Federation of Enterprise Agencies and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
MBC has a history of delivering contracts on behalf of many different organisations including Manchester City Council, Local Universities & North West Arts Board. The main work of the company has been with Manchester Training and Enterprise Council (TEC) and subsequently Chamberlink.
MBC has over the last fifteen years developed Digital & Creative Industry expertise. We have an experienced team of the business specialists gaining regional and national recognition. We support Manchester's Digital Challenge.
We have provided services for Manchester City Council and Business Link building an excellent network with the city's institutions developing enterprise and e-business. The directors currently participate on various working groups including all Manchester Regeneration Areas Business Networks, the National Entrepreneur Scholarship, Shell Livewire, the Prince's Trust and other groups where we provide advice and experience within enterprise and e-business.
